Nikeya Cabine was born and raised in the city of Flint, Michigan then moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan in her adult years to continue her career as a State of Michigan services worker. She comes from a background of 13 years in social services and brings compassion, patience, understanding, cultural competence, and customer service to bear when working with her real estate clients.

Nikeya attended Central Michigan University as well as the University of Michigan-Flint where she earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology. Although her degree is from U of M, she is a CMU Chippewa at heart. Her interpersonal skills give her a unique insight into how to protect clients and interact with customers in order to provide the best experience all around.

Becoming a real estate agent has been a dream of Nikeya's for as long as she can remember. She has a love for helping people and admiring beautiful homes. She has always enjoyed going to open houses, private viewings, and even apartment hunting. She finds it all so relaxing.

That, coupled with her passion for helping others, Nikeya felt real estate would be the perfect career! She will not only be enjoying being out in the community, seeing gorgeous homes, and meeting new people but she will also have the opportunity to help educate first time home buyers and guide them along in the process of taking ownership of their very first home!

With her extensive background in social work, this career is the perfect addition to Nikeya's life; allowing her the opportunity to continue to work closely with people of all backgrounds, create her own work-life balance, take control of her own time, and spend more time with her husband and their quickly growing 6 and 3 year old daughters.
